Year 3
A Busy Summer Term!
In Y3 we have been exploring the world and its artists. In English we read The Great Kapok Tree, retelling the story in our own words. Please see some examples of our work.
For our topic homework, the children were asked to research the artist Gaudi and produce their own piece of art inspired by his works. I think you'll agree we have some support talented children in Y3!
The Romans
Year 3 have really enjoyed exploring our topic ‘The Romans’ since Christmas! This was Roman Day, our little Romans ate a Roman banquet, made our own bread and created Roman fact board games!
A special visitor!
3LT - Autumn 1 - Cave painting and skeletons.
In 3LT we started the term creating cave paintings for our Stone Age topic. We also went on a Stone Age hunter/gather quest around forest schools.
In Science we have been learning about nutrition, skeletons and muscles. We created our own child size human skeletons and displayed them around our classroom.
