  2-1 to Southgate's boys!!!! It's coming home....! What a victory! We're celebrating in school and making tomorrow non-uniform - if you can wear the right colours, even better!

  The children had fun joining in with their bubble sports days last week. We saw some fantastic sporting abilities and great attitudes too!

  

• Environmental Activist Day

  We had a fantastic day yesterday as Environment Activists! Everyone got involved with each year group taking part in different activities in order to promote taking care of our planet. We made our own paper, bird feeders, windmills, re-used clothes and much, much more. We had great fun as well as learning about ways to change our habits and the work of Eco activists.

  

• Sports Week: 28th June - 2nd July

  Next week, the children will be having their year group sports days. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we will not be able to invite parents to watch. Please send your child to school in their PE kit on their sports day as well as their normal PE day.

  

• Bee Active

  On Friday 11th June, the whole school took part in some extra PE activities to celebrate the NSPCC National Childhood Day. The children had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

• Non-uniform: active wear

  Send your child to school in active wear on Friday 11th June as we celebrate NSPCC Childhood Day. We will be engaging in fun sports sessions together. We welcome a suggested donation of £1 to be payed via SIMS pay only.

  

• It's time to plant!

  It isn't too late to plant your sunflower seeds with your child! Follow the instructions below, and they when the plant gets a bit bigger, put it outside when the risk of frost has passed.

  We will measure up in the Summer to see whose has grown the tallest!

  

• Y1 Pirate Dress-Up Day
