Our school motto, “Working Together to Achieve Our Best,” reflects our commitment to partnership across the whole school community. Together, we strive to ensure that every child can fulfil their true potential through a creative, broad, and balanced curriculum.

The wellbeing of our entire school community is a central focus. This commitment was recognised with the Wellbeing Award for Schools, and is reflected in our daily practices.

We are extremely proud of our friendly, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Our positive and respectful school culture is deeply embedded, with staff who know and care about each pupil. This was recognised by Ofsted in their most recent visit in November 2019:

Proud to Be Part of the Societas Trust

In April 2025, we were thrilled to become a full member of The Societas Trust—a successful partnership of eleven schools across North Staffordshire. This marks an exciting new chapter for Burnwood, strengthening our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and community.
