In the run up to Safer Internet Day on February 7th, we have sent home a copy of Digital Parenting to all our families. It has lots of great advice about how to keep our children safe online and become positive global citizens in an ever evolving electronic world. Check out their website for more info!
Burnwood Community School is proud to be an eCadet school. eCadets is an award winning programme which trains, empowers and supports a team of pupils to keep the whole school safe online.
The team at eCadets is run by a team of former police officers. The eCadet team can now communicate through Bubble - a 100% safe social platform which is run and moderated by eCadet HQ.

Our eCadet Team meet twice a term to take part on challenages set by eCadet HQ online which earn points for the school. More points means that they rise through the eCadet rankings.
The team will work with Teachers, pupils, parents and governors to promote Online safety for the whole school community. The team will hold regular Online Safety Assemblies so that everyone is reminded about the importance of staying safe online.
